Working Holiday Visa (WHV) Requirements
The Working Holiday Visa will allow you to travel and work during a 12-month working holiday in Canada. During this time, you may take on any job you find. This means, you can finance most of your working holiday in Canada yourself.

Terms and conditions for the Working Holiday Visa for Canada vary from country to country. Following is a list of requirements for the Working Holiday Visa for United Kingdom citizens. If you are not from the UK, please inform yourself about the terms and conditions which apply to you, at the website of the Canadian Embassy in your home country.
- 18-30 years of age.
- A clean police background check.
- Proof of being a UK citizen, and that you have resided in the UK for the past 3 years.
- Proof of possession of sufficient funds for your first 3 months in Canada: £629 (CA$1000) per month.
- Sufficient travel/medical insurance coverage for your entire stay in Canada.
If you have already taken part in a working holiday in Canada, you may be allowed to take part in a second working holiday, if you meet the eligibility requirements above.
