Combi-programmes for volunteer work in Latin America
Travellers interested in Latin America are often uncertain when deciding on a particular country they want to see – or they try to visit as many countries as possible and eventually bite off more than they can chew. A combination of two countries is the perfect solution to this dilemma. After finishing your four-week language course in one Latin American country, you can travel to another to do your volunteer work.
You can choose whether you first start out on the volunteer work in a second country directly after the language course, or whether you would like to first travel around, and then get to your volunteer work. If time flies by because you’re having a good time, no sweat – just extend the language course or the volunteer work by some further weeks.

The following services are contained in our Peru – Ecuador volunteer work Combi-programmes:
- 4-week Spanish language course in Cusco – 20 lessons per week, each lasting 50 minutes.
- 4 weeks of accommodation during the language course in Peru (usually a double room in student residential accommodation with half-board or single room with a host family, including full-board)
- Transfer from and to Lima airport on your way to Cusco
- Overnight stay with breakfast in Lima
- Domestic flight Lima – Cusco
- Transfer from Cusco airport
- Course material
- Various activities in the school
- Placement in a volunteer project in Ecuador
- 4 weeks of accommodation during the volunteer work (nature conservation / social work in the country: accommodation and meals in the project. Social work in Quito: accommodation in a hostel without meals)
- Internet access
- Support by an appointed programme co-ordinator before departure
- Help with taking out travel insurance
- English-speaking support/contact partner at the school in Cusco
- Contact partner in Quito
- 24-hour emergency number in both countries
