Volunteering in Vietnam

The following services are included in our volunteering in Vietnam programme:

• Transportation from airport in Hanoi.
• Activities and excursions during the 3-week adventure tour, as described in the itinerary.
• Accommodation during the adventure tour, depending on the programme day (shared room in basic hotel, on a boat, on the night train, or with a host family).
• Entrance fees during the 3-week adventure tour.
• Train travel and other transportation during the adventure tour.
• Meals as described in the itinerary.
• English-speaking tour guide on almost all days during the first weeks and on the first 2 days in your project.
• Domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi at the end of the adventure tour.
• Placement in a volunteer project.
• Accommodation during the volunteer work (usually a double room in a guesthouse near to the project, meals not included).
• 3-lesson Vietnamese language course.
• An English-Vietnamese language guide.
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure.
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance.
• Local English-speaking contact.
• Certificate upon return.

Prices

• Age: 18 years and above.
• Language: Good knowledge of English.
• Practical experience: Not mandatory, but it would certainly make your volunteering in Vietnam easier.
• Other: Police background check required. Since you are going to enter a completely new cultural region, patience, adaptability, independence, and travel experience are essential. You must also show a great deal of initiative.
