Volunteering in Vietnam
Vietnam has long been one of Asia’s best-kept travel secrets, but especially in recent years the country has developed out of its turbulent history into an intriguing and multifaceted travel destination. A land of great natural beauty, Vietnam is also a place where tradition and modern life intermingle. The opulent palaces and temples of Vietnam’s ancient cities are as much a part of the cityscape as the bright and chaotic street markets, where mopeds zip and rickshaws hurry by.

Our services and prices for volunteering in Vietnam
The following services are included in our volunteering in Vietnam programme:
- Transportation from and to the airport in Hanoi.
- Activities and excursions during the 3-week adventure tour, as described in the itinerary.
- Accommodation during the adventure tour, depending on the programme day (shared room in basic hotel, on a boat, on the night train, or with a host family).
- Entrance fees during the 3-week adventure tour.
- Train travel and other transportation during the adventure tour.
- Meals as described in the itinerary.
- English-speaking tour guide on almost all days during the first weeks and on the first 2 days in your project.
- Domestic flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi at the end of the adventure tour (only for participants who take part in volunteer work after the adventure tour)
- Placement in a volunteer project.
- Accommodation during the volunteer work (usually a double room* in a guesthouse near to the project, meals not included).
- Vietnamese language course with about 2 lessons.
- An English-Vietnamese language guide.
- Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure.
- Local 24-hour emergency number.
- Assistance when taking out travel insurance.
- Local English-speaking contact.
- Certificate upon return.

*If you are the only volunteer at the project, you will be accommodated in a single room, for which an extra payment of about £250 (US$400 / €300) is required.
