Depending on your project, your four weeks of volunteer work in Venezuela in Mérida or Playa Colorada will include:
- Caring for and instructing street children and orphans
- Caring for sick and injured animals and cleaning out stalls in an animal shelter
- Cleaning beaches and local recreation areas, planting trees, working in marine or animal protection projects, and organising environmental campaigns
- Building or renovating free-time facilities for children or teenagers (example: football or volleyball fields)
Whatever your volunteer work in Venezuela entails, you will have the chance to practice your Spanish skills in direct contact with the local people.
