Volunteer opportunities in Thailand

The following services are included in our volunteer opportunities in Thailand programme:

• Transfer from train station or bus station
• An orientation weekend in Nongkhai, Mae Hong Son, or Chiang Mai
• Placement in a (possibly several) volunteer project(s)
• Accommodation (shared room in a shared flat, lunch may be included at the project site)
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• Local English-speaking contact person
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 and above
• Language: Good knowledge of English
• Practical experience: Not mandatory, but it would certainly make your stay easier.
• Other: Police background check required. Since volunteer opportunities in Thailand will introduce you to a completely new cultural region, patience, adaptability, independence, and travel experience are essential. You must also show a great deal of personal initiative.
