Evidence of Mexico's ancient cultural heritage can be found all over the country; ancient peoples such as the Maya and Aztecs have left many traces of their once-glorious reign. Today, Mexico's landscape is dotted with monuments from these civilizations, that have never lost their stunning appearance over the course of many centuries.

Voluntary Work in Mexico
Have your eye set on volunteering and learning Spanish in Mexico, but just can't find the time? Maybe you can squeeze our 4-week Short Programme into your busy schedule! This programme gives you the chance to combine 2 weeks of language lessons with 2 weeks of voluntary work in Mexico.
You'll stay with a Mexican host family during the language course, where half board (2 meals a day) will be provided. During your voluntary work in Mexico, you will stay in a shared flat, and meals will not be provided.
Short-Term Voluntary Work in Mexico
- Activities: Help with leisure time activities (sports, games, crafts, etc.) for children. Caring for the children, assisting at mealtimes, cleaning the facilities, etc.
- Free Time: Usually at the weekend.
- Duration: 4 weeks.
- Application: At least 2-3 months before departure. We are happy to receive application materials much earlier than this.
- Starting Dates: Every Sunday. Project possibilities are limited between the end of November and January, due to holidays.
- Visa: Free tourist visa upon arrival (valid for 90 days). Valid passport and return ticket required.
- Practical Experience: Not necessary, but this would certainly make your stay easier.
- Other: Independence, personal initiative, flexibility, and adaptability are vital. Travel experience is an advantage.
