Volunteer Work in South Africa: Johannesburg

The following services are included in our programme "Volunteer Work in South Africa - Johannesburg":

• Transfer from Johannesburg airport upon arrival
• Several-day orientation, including tour of Soweto and excursion to the countryside
• 3 nights accommodation during the orientation event in Johannesburg (shared room in a hostel)
• Placement in a volunteer project
• Accommodation during the volunteer work in a shared room in a volunteer house or with a guest family (possibly at the project site) with full board
• Oftentimes the chance to take part in organised excursions and social events (possibly for an additional price)
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure

Prices

• Age: 18 and above.
• Language: Good knowledge of English
• Practical experience: Not necessary.
• Other: As you are going to enter a completely new cultural region when you do volunteer work in South Africa, you must have a lot of adaptability, flexibility, creativity and independence. The work may be physically demanding, and psychologically and emotionally stressful – you must be aware of this.
