Volunteer opportunities in Cape Town

The following services are included in our volunteer opportunities in Cape Town programme:

• Transfer from Cape Town airport to volunteer house
• 5-day orientation with various excursions
• 5 overnight stays in a shared room in the volunteer house
• Internet access in the volunteer house
• Transportation from the volunteer house to the host family
• Placement in a volunteer project
• Accommodation and meals during the volunteer work (with a host family or at the project site)

Prices

• Age: From 18-30 years. For some projects, you must be over 20 or 21 years of age. Older participants are welcome upon request.
• Language: Good knowledge of English.
• Practical experience: Not necessary for most projects, but it would certainly make your stay easier and more interesting. For work in the field of healthcare, medical knowledge is required.
• Other: Patience, independence, flexibility, adaptability and personal initiative are essential, as is the ability to live with very basic living and working conditions. Travel experience is an advantage.
