Volunteering in Swaziland

The following services are included in our volunteering in Swaziland programme:

• Transfer from/to the airport
• Orientation 
• Accommodation in a shared room (backpacker lodge, tent, lodge on the beach) with meals (group cooking in Swaziland)
• Placement in a volunteer project in Swaziland
• Tour guide during the entire trip
• All transportation in connection to the expedition
• Daily safaris in Kruger National Park as well as one further trip or a bush walk, upon request
• Excursion to a traditional village in Swaziland
• Snorkelling excursion and full-day kayaking trip in Mozambique
• Visa for Mozambique, including assistance applying for the visa on location
• Possibility to take part in organised excursions (possibly for an additional price)
• Help taking out travel insurance
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure
• Local English-speaking contact partner
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 and above
• Language: Good knowledge of English
• Practical experience: Not necessary, but an advantage
• Other: Volunteering in Swaziland, you will need to bring along your own sleeping bag. Patience, independence, and adaptability are essential, as is the ability to handle very basic living and working conditions.

• Travel to and from Manzini, Swaziland
• Daily transportation between the project site and the volunteer accommodation (about £13-30 / $ 21-50 / 16-37 €, depending on the length of your stay). You will either pay for this at the end of your stay or donate the money to the project.
• Vaccinations
• Travel insurance
• Personal expenses for excursions, transportation, etc.
