Volunteer Work with Animals - Project Work

When you volunteer with animals near Kruger National Park in South Africa, you will be part of the team on site and will learn the fundamentals of nature conservation. You will become familiar with the various jobs on the reservation, such as:

  • Counting / observing wildlife populations
  • Checking road and fence conditions
  • Controlling erosion
  • Small construction projects
  • Camp maintenance and improvement
  • Working with dams and waterholes
  • Cleaning up litter and weeds at the river
  • Bush clearing
  • Track identification and tracking

As you can see, the project is not only based on volunteer work with animals - you will also experience all aspects of nature conservation.
