Monkey Project South Africa

The following services are included in our Monkey Project in South Africa programme:

• Transfer from the nearby airport to the monkey project site/ hostel
• Placement in the volunteer project
• Accommodation (shared room in a lodge, cottage, volunteer house, hut, or camp) with full board
• Often the possibility to take part in organised excursions (possibly for an additional price)
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure.
• Local English-speaking programme coordinator
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 and above
• Language: Good knowledge of English.
• Practical experience: Not necessary.
• Other: The work in the monkey project in South Africa can be physically strenuous. Patience, adaptability, independence, and travel experience are very important. A love of animals is a must!
