Lion Project in South Africa

The following services are included in our Lion Project in South Africa:

• Transfers from the airport in Johannesburg to the hostel, from the hostel to the project site, and from the project back to the airport (at set times)
• Orientation event in Johannesburg with sightseeing tours (meals not included)
• Placement in the volunteer project
• Accommodation (room with 2-4 volunteers in chalet with full board)
• The opportunity to take part in organised excursions (possibly for an additional price)
• SIM-Card on location
• Possibility to book an English language course - please contact us for more information
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure
• Help with taking out travel insurance
• English-speaking contact person on location
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 and above.
• Language: Good knowledge of English.
• Practical experience: Not mandatory.
• Other: The work in the lion project in South Africa can be physically demanding. Since you will be entering a completely foreign cultural area, patience, adaptability, independence, and travel experience are very important. A love of animals is essential.
