Elephant Project South Africa

The following services are included in our Elephant Project in South Africa:

• Transfer from and to Airport George or the bus stop in Knysna
• Accommodation (Volunteer house, tent) and meals during the volunteer work
• Orientation and Info-Packet on location
• Community and culture excursion (about 2 hours)
• Placement in various volunteer projects
• Daily transfers to and from the project sites
• Weekly laundry service
• Opportunity to take part in organised excursions (possibly for an extra fee)
• SIM-Card and T-Shirt (on location)
• Possibility to book an English language course - please contact us for more information
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure

Prices

• Age: 18 and above
• Language: Good knowledge of English
• Practical experience: Not necessary, but welcomed.
• Other: Physical fitness, good health, and a love of animals are essential for the elephant project in South Africa. Patience, adaptability, independence, and travel experience are very important.
