Elephant Project South Africa

The following services are included in our Elephant Project in South Africa:

• Transfer from and to Airport George
• 2 overnight stays in a tent during the week in Addo Park and 20 overnight stays at the project site at the elephant sanctuary (full board)
• Accommodation at the weekend in a shared room in the volunteer house or in a hostel (full board)
• Orientation and Info-Packet on location
• Transportation during the 4-week programme
• Placement in the volunteer project
• Opportunity to take part in organised excursions, for example: animal reserves, whale-watching (possibly for an extra fee)
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure
• Local English-speaking contact partner
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 and above
• Language: Good knowledge of English
• Practical experience: Not necessary.
• Other: Physical fitness, good health, and a love of animals are essential for the elephant project in South Africa. Patience, adaptability, independence, and travel experience are very important.
