Hospitality jobs Portugal

The following services are included in our hospitality jobs in Portugal programme:

• 2 or 4-week Portuguese language course (20 classes per week, each class lasting 45 minutes, with a maximum of 10 students per class)
• 2 or 4 weeks of accommodation in a room with multiple beds in a shared flat during the language course. (You will take care of your own meals.)
• Placement in a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality job in Portugal
• Payment of about 150-300 € per month
• Accommodation during your work in a shared room in the hotel or in a private room, with full board
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure
• Help when taking out travel insurance
• Local English and Portuguese-speaking contact person
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18-35 years
• Language: Portuguese skills are a great advantage, but are not absolutely necessary; you will learn some Portuguese during the language course. If you do not have knowledge of Portuguese, you must have very good English skills.
• Nationality: EU or Swiss citizenship
• Practical experience:  Prior experience in hotel or hospitality work is a great advantage, but is not absolutely necessary.
• Other: After you have booked the programme, write an application for hotel and hospitality jobs in Portugal. The application can be written in English or Portuguese, and must follow our specifications. You may have a telephone interview with your potential employer in Portuguese. Hospitality jobs in Portugal require a lot of hard work, flexibility, rather good English and Portuguese skills, and the ability to get along well with other people and maintain an appropriate appearance.
