Volunteer opportunities in Peru

The following services are included in our volunteer work programme for Peru:

• Transportation from and to the Lima airport on your way to Cusco
• Overnight stay with breakfast in Lima
• Domestic flight from Lima - Cusco
• Transfer from Cusco airport to accommodation
• Spanish language course with 20 lessons per week, each lasting 50 minutes.
• Various activities in the school (a welcome meal, tour of Cusco, films, cooking lessons, salsa dancing, etc.)
• Course materials
• Internet access at the school
• Placement in a volunteer project and donation to project
• Accommodation in a double room in student accommodation at the school with half board. (During the language course, upon request with a host family in a single room with full board.)
• Possibility to take part in organised tours (possibly for an extra price)
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure.
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• Local English and Spanish-speaking contact partner

• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 years and above.
• Language: Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage, but not required.
• Practical experience: Not mandatory for most of the projects, but it would certainly make your stay easier.
• Other: Life is less organised in Peru than it is in Europe. You will need to show a great deal of personal initiative, flexibility, and creativity. Travel experience is also an advantage.
