Mozambique: Diving & Volunteering

The following services are included in our programme “Mozambique: Diving & Volunteering”:

• Transfer from the airport in Inhambane with public transportation
• Orientation day in Tofo
• 4-day diving training for the PADI Open Water Certificate (already-certified divers can take a higher-level course or take the same number of dives as those in the courses.)  
• Diving and snorkelling equipment (on loan)
• Placement in the ocean protection project
• Accommodation in the volunteer house at the beach with full board
• Help taking out travel insurance
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure
• Local English-speaking contact partner
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18-65 years.
• Language: Good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage, but not absolutely necessary.
• Practical experience: Not necessary, but it would surely make your stay easier.  
• Other: Physical fitness and the ability to live and work under very basic living conditions are essential.

• Visa costs (30-80 €, depending on the visa)
