Your volunteer work in Mexico will include helping disadvantaged people in a local Mexican support project – at an orphanage, a home for street children, or a school. The indigenous population in particular often lives under poverty-stricken conditions.
Although you won't fix the problems of the world through your volunteer work in Mexico, your commitment is very important to the people in this particular region, and is very much appreciated. You will get to know the difficulties, as well as the positive and wonderful aspects of Mexico. Collaboration with the friendly Mexican people is certainly an amazing experience.
Your volunteer work in Mexico will start immediately after the language course and last 4 weeks, although it can be extended for a cost of £80 (US$ 120 / 90 €) per week for accommodation. You will live in a shared apartment with other volunteers during your volunteer work in Mexico.
