Volunteer opportunities in Mexico

The following services are included in our volunteer work programme for Mexico:

• Spanish language course with 25 lessons per week, each lasting 50 minutes.
• Accommodation with a host family (half board) for the duration of the language course
• Placement in a volunteer project
• Accommodation in an apartment during the volunteer work (meals not included)
• Transportation from Oaxaca airport to the host family
• Various activities in the school (salsa lessons, cooking lessons, etc).
• Internet access in the school
• Luggage storage
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• Course materials
• English and Spanish-speaking support/ contact partner in the school
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Price

• Age: 18 years and above.
• Language: Spanish language skills are an advantage, but are not necessary for the 8-week programme. Knowledge of Spanish is necessary for the 5-week programme.
  
• Practical experience: Not mandatory, but it would certainly make your stay easier.
• Other: Independence, flexibility, personal initiative, and adaptability are vital. Travel experience is an advantage.
