Working Holiday Melbourne

When you start your working holiday in Melbourne, the capital of the Australian state of Victoria, you will be swept up in the exciting beach atmosphere and hopping nightlife, especially in the bright amusement park area of St. Kilda. If you’ve had enough of walking through the city (don’t forget to check out Queen Victoria Market!) you can relax in the expansive garden area directly across from the Victorian Arts Centre Spire, a prominent landmark, or explore the city’s surroundings.

Working Holiday in Melbourne

In our Melbourne programme, you will be headed straight for the most European city in Australia. In the heart of Melbourne lie the “Laneways”, small alleyways hidden in the centre of the town. Here, you will find the trendiest bars and shops and will meet plenty of locals.

Near Melbourne you will find several lovely nature parks, as well as:

  • The Victorian Alps, where you can go skiing in the winter,
  • The Great Ocean Road, on a craggy 132 km coastline, with spectacular views.

The Australian Open at the beginning of the year is a must for tennis fans, and you won't miss another charming quirk of this cultural capital: street art. Internationally-recognised as a centre of street art, Melbourne is dotted with buildings decorated with colourful murals and paintings. Begin your working holiday in Melbourne and experience this lively city for yourself!
