Volunteer in Rajasthan
When you volunteer in Rajasthan, located in the west of India, you will soon find that it is brimming with cultural legacy, bright folklore, and fascinating nature. Stately maharaja palaces and gorgeous businessmen’s houses are evidence of the prosperity of bygone days in the region. If you’re lucky, you could see wild tigers in the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Of course, as a volunteer in Rajasthan, you are guaranteed a view of hundreds of camels and cows, which commonly roam through the streets in town.
You will have a choice between two project locations when you volunteer in Rajasthan. You may choose to volunteer in western Rajasthan in a small town called Shiv at the edge of the desert, or to volunteer in the city of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, which, with 2.7 million residents, is a centre of handcrafted artwork. If you choose to volunteer in Rajasthan in the rural town of Shiv, you will still get to know the city of Jaipur during an orientation at the beginning of your stay in India.
