"I was placed in Jávea, Alicante, in a 4-star hotel. I worked nine hours a day and in my leisure time I did a lot of things with my work colleagues. I was a waitress – serving the guests and clearing the tables, or re-setting them. In general, we did the same work as regular employees do. The job was highly diversified; for example I had to prepare the room service, prepare the menus for weddings, decorate and speak on the phone with guests to verify orders.
I really enjoyed my time in Spain. I have achieved exactly what I hoped for – I now speak fluent Spanish and have also met lots of really good friends. I’d jump on a plane to fly back there any day!
