Catering work in Spain

The following services are included in our catering work programme in Spain:

• Work placement in a hotel or country guesthouse
• Pocket money of at least 200 € per month (approximately  £150 or 300 US$) (possibly minus taxes)
• Accommodation in a hotel / country guesthouse with full board (shared room)
• If required, a language course with 20 lessons of 50 minutes per week.
• If necessary, accommodation during the language course (single room in residential accommodation – self-catering)
• If required, various organised leisure time activities at the language school
• Support, help and advice from an appointed programme co-ordinator before departure
• Help with taking out travel insurance
• English-speaking contact person in Spain
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices for work in Spain

• Age: 18-35 years old
• Language: good to very good Spanish skills (good English skills also required).
• Nationality: EU citizenship
• Practical experience: Initial experience in a hotel or restaurant is a great advantage, but not necessary.
• Other: After booking the programme, please submit a hotel application in Spanish according to our specifications. Working in a hotel or restaurant means that you must work hard and be flexible – in particular with respect to working hours and shift work – you must be able to speak Spanish relatively well, be good at dealing with people and of course you should also maintain a smart and representative appearance.

• Possible onward travel from Seville to your place of work
