Volunteer opportunities Guatemala

The following services are included in our volunteer work programme for Guatemala:

• Spanish language course with 20 lessons per week, 50 minutes per lesson.
• Accommodation in a single room with a host family
• Meals (full board from Monday to Saturday)
• Placement in a volunteer project
• Transfer Guatemala City airport - Antigua
• Course materials
• Various activities in the school (Salsa lessons, excursions, etc).
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure.
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• English and Spanish-speaking support/contact partner in Guatemala
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 years and above.
• Language: Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage, but not necessary – you will gain Spanish skills during the language course. 5-week programme: good knowledge of Spanish is required.
• Practical experience: Not necessary, but it would certainly make your stay easier.
• Other: Self-sufficiency, flexibility, initiative, and adaptability are vital. Travel experience is an advantage.
