Volunteering in Argentina

The following services are included in our volunteering in Argentina programme:

• Transfer from airport in Buenos Aires to home of host family.
• 4-week Spanish language course with 20 lessons per week, each lasting 55 minutes.
• Course materials.
• Orientation with guided tour of the city barrio of Belgrano.
• Welcome package and welcome drink on the first Monday.
• Various activities at the school (tango, cooking, music, films, excursions).
• Discount Card (for deals on food, activities, etc. in Buenos Aires).
• Internet access in the school.
• 4 weeks accommodation during the language course in a single room with a host family, at half board (breakfast and supper).
• Placement in a volunteer project.
• Donation to the project.
• 4 weeks accommodation during the volunteer work in a shared room in a shared flat.
• Assistance when taking out travel insurance
• Support, help, and advice from an appointed programme coordinator before departure.
• Local English and Spanish-speaking contacts
• Local 24-hour emergency number
• Certificate upon return

Prices

• Age: 18 years and above
• Language: Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage for volunteering in Argentina, but not strictly necessary
• Practical experience: Not mandatory, but it would certainly make your stay easier.
• Other: Self-sufficiency, initiative, and flexibility are vital.
